Pick up from your hotel (Mombasa, Malindi, or Diani). Drive along the Mombasa-Nairobi highway.

Enter Tsavo East National Park via Bachuma or Voi Gate. Begin an extensive game drive en route to the lodge.

Arrive at your chosen safari lodge/camp, check in, and have lunch.

Explore the open plains of Tsavo East, famous for its "Red Elephants" that bathe in the iron-rich red dust. Visit Aruba Dam and the area around Mudanda Rock, major watering points where game congregates.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay in Tsavo East.

Pre-breakfast game drive for a final chance to spot predators, particularly lions, before the heat of the day.
